About Us – Cellar Handling

Cellar Handling is based in the North West of England and was established in 1996.

We specialise in the design and supply of equipment to handle cask beer. All products are manufactured in the UK and primarily in house.

We pride ourselves on our ability to meet customer requirement; In particular regarding racking systems where we always offer a bespoke approach to system design where standard specifications wouldn’t work.

Cellar Handling continuously seek to improve our products and services. This allows customers to approach us with ideas they have or issues they want resolving. For example, Wadworth Brewery originally discussed with us the concept of a freestanding rack that integrated an electric hoist with tilting stillages. Marston’s approached us to design a lightweight portable bar.

The ‘over head hoist’ system has been developed over 15 years and is without doubt the most advanced and flexible racking system currently available in the sector. We can supply an ‘over head hoist’ system to the majority of sites, removing the need for a lift truck.
